Understanding the planning and development process and especially understanding how local government works, can often be a daunting task - you may not know who you need to approach, what information you need or the best strategy to get the outcome you want.

I can help you with the answers. I have worked in local government for over thirty years, managing the planning process - dealing with planning applications as well as local plans - and delivering regeneration projects and with this experience I can help you navigate a route to the successful delivery of your project.

I've managed multi-disciplinary teams including planning, building control, economic development, property and housing with the focus on end to end delivery of projects.

Since setting up my own consultancy in 2022 I have been working on a diverse range of planning work with private clients, local authorities and parish councils. I have developed a network of fellow professionals who can provide the wider support services required to ensure successful planning

outcomes - ecology and Biodiversity Net Gain, landscape design and visual appraisals, topographic surveys, structural reports, heritage reports and conservation design as well as general plan and drawing preparation.

With this background I can offer support in the following areas:
